## What they manufacture

All of the following are made in-house from bought-in feedstock. Nothing is
traded, white-labelled or relabelled from another plant.

- Phosphotungstic acid (CAS 12501-23-4, H3PW12O40 - xH2O) - approx. 500 kg per
  month. Used as a pharmaceutical intermediate, for alkaloid precipitation, for
  negative staining in electron microscopy, in histology stains including
  Masson trichrome, and in heteropolyacid catalysis.
- Phosphomolybdic acid (CAS 51429-74-4, H3PMo12O40 - xH2O) - 95% minimum,
  powder, 5 kg pack standard. Runs in parallel with phosphotungstic acid. Used
  as a TLC and spray reagent, as a pharmaceutical and pigment intermediate, and
  in oxidation catalysis.
- Silicotungstic acid (CAS 12027-43-9, H4SiW12O40 - xH2O) - made to order. Low
  alkali and chloride. Used in acid catalysis, esterification, electrochemistry
  and membrane research.
- Sodium tungstate dihydrate (CAS 10213-10-2, Na2WO4 - 2H2O) - made to order.
  Low molybdenum. Used as tungsten chemistry feedstock, in flame-retardant
  formulation and as a catalyst precursor.

Also manufactured to order rather than held in stock. Grade and pack size vary
by material, and lead times are longer than for the four compounds above.

- Tungstic acid (CAS 7783-03-1, H2WO4)
- Ammonium ceric nitrate (CAS 16774-21-3, (NH4)2Ce(NO3)6)
- Ammonium ceric sulphate (CAS 10378-47-9, (NH4)4Ce(SO4)4 - 2H2O)
- Ceric sulphate (CAS 13590-82-4, Ce(SO4)2)
- Sodium nitroprusside (CAS 13755-38-9, Na2[Fe(CN)5NO] - 2H2O)
- Diboron trioxide (CAS 1303-86-2, B2O3)
- Adenine (CAS 73-24-5, C5H5N5)

Perchlorate oxidiser salts (ammonium, potassium, lithium, sodium and magnesium
perchlorate) are supplied WITHIN INDIA ONLY. Dimple Associates does not hold the
export licences those materials require.

## Quantities and terms

- Smallest quantity: 100 g qualification lot. Samples are paid and quoted
  individually; there is no free-sample programme.
- Largest single order shipped to date: 500 kg of phosphotungstic acid.
- Reactor batch sizes range from 25 kg to 100 kg depending on the compound, and
  several compounds can be in production simultaneously.
- There is no published price list. Phosphotungstic acid is roughly three
  quarters tungsten by mass, and tungsten is a volatile traded commodity, so
  pricing is quoted against feedstock cost on the day of enquiry, with a stated
  validity period.

## How exports work

Dimple Associates manufactures; it does not hold its own importer-exporter
code. Export documentation and freight are handled by the merchant exporter or
trading house on the order. Material has reached the United States, Japan,
South Korea, Canada, China, South Africa and Brazil by this route. Domestic
Indian orders are despatched by road.

## Quality and certification - stated plainly

- GST registered Indian manufacturer.
- Every batch is assayed before packing, with the result tied to the lot number
  and production date.
- Third-party laboratory test reports are available on request.
- NOT ISO 9001 certified. Certification is intended but not held today.
- No export licence of its own (see above).
